Most forms of yoga can be classified as Hatha Yoga. Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind and spirit in preparation for meditation.

Yoga with props

This is a form of Hatha Yoga that has an emphasis on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of posture (asana) and breath control (pranayama). It often makes use of props, such as belts, blocks, and blankets, as it aids in performing postures correctly, minimising the risk of injury or strain, and making the postures accessible to both young and old.



Prana means life force or breath sustaining the body; Ayama translates as "to extend or draw out." Together two mean breath extension or control. Pranayama is meant to nurture a high level of bodily health and mental clarity, both of which are crucial steps on the path to self-knowledge and a wholesome, authentic life.

Through my Yoga journey, I have noticed a remarkable change in myself, which has benefited me immensely. I would like to share my knowledge with others so that they can also reap similar benefits.

My intention is to inspire and motivate others to pursue this Journey of Yoga.

I was an actor and a contemporary dancer before Yoga happened to me. Though I was happy with my acting and dancing, still something was missing.

That is when I started to learn Yoga with the intention to support myself.

But the more I practiced yoga, the more I was experiencing the depth of it. I could see the small changes happening over a period of time.

Yoga has made me calm and empathetic towards others and helped me to accept my true self.

Yoga is now my friend for life - when I am down, it gives me the clarity I would need.

Most importantly it lets me know: ‘Time will Heal’

For Personal classes, I'll visit your home.

For Group classes, I visit apartment complexes and yoga centers.

For Corporate classes, I'll visit the office.



I live in Bangalore

I visit and teach at the following locations: 

Koramangala, HSR layout, Indiranagar, Jayanagar, JP Nagar

Rs. 1200 onwards per session [for personal classes]

My fees are based on a variety of factors such as the travel distance, any kind of special therapy that would be needed, number of students per class [for group classes] etc.
