My specialities




Most forms of yoga can be classified as Hatha Yoga. Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind and spirit in preparation for meditation.

This is a form of Hatha Yoga that has an emphasis on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of posture (asana) and breath control (pranayama). It often makes use of props, such as belts, blocks, and blankets, as it aids in performing postures correctly, minimising the risk of injury or strain, and making the postures accessible to both young and old.

The great master Krishnamacharya, championed the vinyasa approach that includes assessing the needs of the individual student (or group) and then building a complementary, step-by-step practice to meet their needs. This is an artful approach to living, a way of applying the skill and awareness of yoga to all the rhythms and sequences of life, including self-care, relationships, work, and personal evolution.

With an objective to do something for the society from what I had learnt, I started to teach.

It is the inspiration from my students that motivates me to teach every day consistently.

Yashwanth is an amazing teacher. His classes are experiential. He simplifies the philosophical and the technical aspects of Yoga and relates them to our day to day life incidents and stories, thus making the class interesting. This makes me not want to miss his classes.

He believes in the hard work put in by the student. He is very patient and does not rush through the classes. I have always been amazed by the spontaneous flow of his class. Once when I asked him about it, he just told me
”Life is simple. We just complicate it.”

I have always been into physical activities. So naturally, I was inclined to go to gyms where I used to workout.

I was working as a part-time Manager for a big Yoga Studio. However, I was not keen on practicing Yoga then.

On my colleague’s (also my very good friend now) insistence, I tried it out one day. Perhaps, that is the turning point in my life. From then on I used to practice Yoga daily in the Studio.

It took me some time to realize that I had started enjoying this more than anything else because of the depth that it involves. I started noticing the change in myself.

I had started noticing the real me - my true self.

For Personal classes, I'll visit your home.

For Group classes, I visit apartment complexes and yoga centers.

For Corporate Workshops, I'll visit the office.



I live in Bangalore

I visit and teach at the following locations: 

Whitefield, Marathahalli, Kadugodi, Bellandur

Rs.1500 onwards per session [for personal classes]

My fees are based on a variety of factors such as the travel distance, any kind of special therapy that would be needed, number of students per class [for group classes] etc.
